New Toyota Multimedia System to Feature a Virtual Assistant

Toyota Multimedia System | Mishawaka, IN

Over the last decade, in-vehicle technology has grown by leaps and bounds. Today’s infotainment systems prioritize convenience, ease of use, and user experience to ensure every trip behind the wheel is a good one. And now, Toyota is about to make your drive better than ever before with the introduction of its advanced new multimedia solution that includes user profiles, over-the-air updates, and the new Virtual Assistant.

The new multimedia system is designed to be utilized similar to how you use your smartphone. You can pinch, zoom, tilt, tap, and touch the screen using your fingers to see the information you need quickly and easily. The system will feature user profiles, which allows you to import your settings to another Toyota vehicle using your smart device or a manual login.

The system is also designed to receive convenient over-the-air updates. With other multimedia systems, you would need to visit a dealership in order to receive a system update, but the new Toyota system will automatically update through the cloud.

The Virtual Assistant works similarly to others like Siri or Alexa, but you’ll say “Hey, Toyota,” with your query instead. You may tell Toyota that you are in the mood for a coffee, or that you need to find the nearest gas station. The Virtual Assistant will find options close to you and provide you with turn-by-turn directions on how to get there.

The new multimedia system will debut on select Toyota models in the fourth quarter of 2021. Keep an eye on our blog at Jordan Toyota for more news nearer the time!
