Toyota recently revealed the brand-new 2022 Corolla Cross, a versatile subcompact SUV that’s designed to fit between the C-HR and the RAV4 in the brand’s lineup.
The new family-friendly model will boast a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which will channel 169 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque through a Continuously Variable Transmission. It’ll offer both front wheel drive and all wheel drive, and is expected to be capable of towing up to 1,500 pounds.
On the inside, it’ll resemble its sedan sibling. Its dashboard will be just as functional and ergonomic as the one found in the popular Corolla sedan, and it’ll also boast many of the model’s standard features, including a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system, rear-seat charging points, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone connectivity. Upgrade for available features, including a power-adjustable driver’s seat, an 8-inch touch screen, a wireless charging pad, and a moonroof to let additional light into the cabin. In terms of differences, the Corolla Cross will offer a power liftgate, which makes it easier to access the spacious cargo bay.
Much like the rest of the Toyota lineup, the 2022 Corolla Cross will boast Toyota Safety Sense driver-assist technology, making it ideal for families on the go. And if you’re looking to go green, you’ll be excited to learn that there’s a hybrid model on the way, too.
When it arrives, you’ll be able to find the 2022 Corolla Cross right here at Jordan Toyota.
